got up. spent way too much at publix. made lunch. wrote a few things for nutrition class. went through the new vogue. took a nap with the windows open and the fan on, ah. grabbed a snack. hot date to starbucks and target. and probably gonna end up staying up all night to organize with my new bins/racks/goodies. :)

slept almost 7 hours last night (woohoo!). woke up this morning, still tired. but i'm excited because today is the day that - there will be light! now there's only cable, internet, and hot water left. sigh.

i'm so anxious for my friends to come to Miami in March for Ultra and visit, but there is so much to do before they get here! probably not the best time to start a new blog, a facebook, and a pinterest (which i'm in love with), while working and chasing a 4.0 but hey, nothing gets accomplished just sittin around!

you don't appreciate it. . .

. . .until it's gone. i miss you, electricity. jacked Starbucks' wireless all day. walked 10 blocks home, saved 2 bucks. walked past wendy's without going in. got a shoulder cramp. made it home. played with darla. said hello to munch. did work on the apartment all night, by candlelight.

looks like the next couple days will be spent in the dark, caveman style. other than cleaning, hiking to free wi-fi spots, and watching friends on a charged laptop, we're going to have to find some other things to keep us entertained. any ideas?

slept on the floor in our old apartment for the last time. i'm going to miss it, especially our land lord. she was great. but i feel good about our new place. boyfriend worked his ass off getting everything done in time, i love him. now we have a brand new apt. filled with crap to organize. i need to summon a monica moment. 


today, i had chris take me to school so i could use their internet and electricity - since we don't have that yet. on the way there, i say that i should just go to a starbucks and work, it's only 10 blocks from the new place. but no, i hesitate and we drive by. chris drives me 70 more blocks. and the girl working at the front desk looks at me like i have 3 heads. school's closed, genius. it's martin luther king day. so, i took my new bus route back 70 blocks and i'm at starbucks sipping chai now, about to finish all of my work, get things taken care of for the new place, and go make that place home. happy martin luther king day.
